But I do want to give my family some privacy (mainly for the little guy). And I think I've come up with a way to not go private, but still get to blog about all the same stuff.
See I'm thinking if I can just come up with code names, or rather 'blog' names for everyone in the family, then I can continue blogging just the same. I've had over 300 hits from people outside of the US (which is kinda cool) but also creepy thinking of all the things some random now knows about my family. It would require a TON of work to go back and switch out all the times I've put our names in the blog, but I'm willing to do it (or at least attempt to). I love reading people's blogs too much to go private myself, but as Valin gets bigger, I do feel broadcasting about him could be dangerous.
And this is where I need help! So I'm obviously Lady Harris, but I need names for the hubby (John) and baby (Valin). (I don't mind our last name being out there, just not firsts)
HELP!
I would love ANY AND ALL IDEAS!! Or even comment to tell me if you don't think I should be doing this. I'm just brainstorming...

My mom keeps our family's personal information (address, phone number) "unlisted" in the yellow pages and stuff like that because of my dad's line of work- I've been thinking about doing that from here on our with Karl and I since blogging because our state is clearly mentioned on here. You could do that for extra security! My contributions for nicknames... hmmm... J's: Doc, The Man (only b/c I know this will warm his manly man ego), Sugar Daddy... still brainstorming on V's nicknames
Great idea, think it's smart. Alright here are some ideas:
John: DJ Jazzy J, Judge, Dr. Daddy, Jafar?! Jag, Jangler, Jawbreaker, Jean, Juicy, Jester, Hancock, and Java.
Linc: ok wait for it....LADY HARRIS. I know, brilliant, thanks.
Valin: monkey man, Vanilla, Varsity, Vault, Venturer, Verb...
If you are iffy on any of them and need some selling points, get back to me.
Good luck
